Garment Photography

Im often approached about garment photography.  This can be a pretty challenging undertaking.  Each article takes countless effort and time to get perfect. Generally with flats (see below) it is necessary to steam every wrinkle out of  each item. I then  lay the  garment down on a clean white surface. Once it is laid down I take as much time as necessary to flatten every crease and make sure the item is laid out perfectly. Once this is done Its time to shoot it.  This is done from above.

After I get a good capture then the fun part starts. Retouching.  It can take up to an hour per image at least with most of these shots. Sometimes I get lucky and Ill only have to spend about 30 minutes to get the desired final image but its rare.
