Stop Motion Video

Stop motion video is one of the best ways to make you product come to life. Below are some samples of work I did for Counselor Magazine for their 2022 winter/fall edition. There were for the web version of the magazine. To check out the cover and the whole magazine you can see it here. 

The process is a lot like a product photo shoot. The main difference is the animation. The way these videos are made is with a combination of multiple still photos. They are then animated with video editing software to make the video complete. This is a very laborious task. These images took an entire day and a half to product. I was fortunate enough to have Hillary Glen style and art direct the photos. Without that kind of help this could have easily taken a lot longer. 

Product video has become more in demand as technology progresses. As an artist and photographer its become part of my responsibility to be ahead of the curve. Its both a privilege and challenge that I would never change given the chance.  Stop motion video or stop motion animation is a logical and easy next step for me. I have  conventional product video that I will share soon.  The real reward is to be able to be creative in my ever day life.
