Jewelry Photography
In 2016, Ryan from Dylanlex reached out to me after seeing my jewelry photography online. He and his brother were really impressed, so we quickly arranged a meeting. We sat down at La Colombe, a popular coffee shop in the Fishtown section of Philadelphia. As a local staple, it offers a variety of great roasts from around the world—and the food is excellent, too.
At the time, Ryan was handling most of the photography for the company himself. Naturally, juggling that with running a business had become overwhelming. His biggest challenge involved isolating product images on a pure white background. Fortunately, that’s one of my specialties, which made this a perfect opportunity for collaboration. Ryan had a clear vision, and he appreciated the creative flair I brought to the brand. We instantly connected and, after a bit of back and forth, found a look that really worked.
One of my favorite aspects of this job is collaborating with people who have a strong, well-defined vision. It makes my role easier and allows me to deliver results that truly satisfy the client. Below, you can see some samples of the jewelry photography I created for Dylanlex.
